The back light did not work on this LCD screen. I guess the high voltage power supply failed. I found an extra CCFL light power brick for neons you put in the computer case (Amazon). I used that to repair the LCD screen.
These are the circuit boards, I did not find a 12V DC anywhere on here, so I had to power the CCFL lights separately from the LCD power wire.
12V Power wires ran in, and the 2x pairs of high voltage wires are connected to the LCD monitors CCFL light wires. Heat shrink was added to prevent shorts and protect the solder points.
The LCD screen is ready to be put back in place on the metal backing.
And it worked! I fixed it… Not the proper way, but it works!
