Picture Frame Makeover!!

I bought a nice small picture frame but wanted to add a little more fun! The frame was nice and small but with some decorative tape, It gave a new fun project! Let’s get started…

Materials:

*Craft Knife

*Decorative Packaging Tape

*Picture Frame (This one is 3in x 3.5in)

Instructions:

Remove the plastic on the frame and add some scratch paper to prevent the tape sticking to the back of the frame.

Place the decorative tape across the frame. Be very careful, wrinkles could hard to prevent. You might have a different frame and tape but it can still get a nice makeover.

Wrap the tape around the edges. If your frame has a 3D decoration, use the knife to cut around it and have the emblem show. The tape is thin and a sudden movement can rip it. I had to take the tape off and re-apply a new piece.

Here is showing the crown nicely. Be very careful when trimming the edges with the knife.

Next is to cut the inner frame. Check for rough tape edges and trim them with a sharp knife, be careful.

The final step is, adding the picture. This will be a special present for anyone.
