Cheap way to mount a TV at an angle

I wanted to mount my TV at an angle but my TV mount only works flat.

I came up with an idea and it worked! Here is what I did.

My supplies are:
-TV mount bracket (the TV side is mounted on the TV).
-Piece of wood for the bracket to mount to.
-Another small strip of wood to put under and create an angle.

You can put the small strip of wood under the Right side to point the TV to the Left.

You can also put the small strip of wood under the Left side to point the TV to the Right.

I start by finding the proper position on my wall.

I then add the thin strip under to angle the mount, then screw it all into place.

My entire wall is thick plywood and can support the weight of my TV. You may need to use anchors or find a stud.

Here is a side view of the support piece holding the angle.

I just slip the TV into place and everything is done!

But before that, I want to show another suggestion.
I use angle adapters so everything can plug in with the TV so close to the wall.
